1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Red Patch Roofing & Contracting, LLC (“Red Patch Roofing,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.redpatchroofing.com (the “Site”), contact us, or exchange text messages with us.
We are a roofing and exterior contracting company serving Berks County, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding area. PA Home Improvement Contractor #PA200867. By using the Site or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described here.
This Site is intended for users in the United States. We do not offer services to, or knowingly collect information from, residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom, and this policy is not written to the GDPR.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you complete a contact or free-estimate form, request service, call us, or email us, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, and any details you include about your roof or project. If you check the text-message consent box on a form, we also record that you gave that consent, along with the date and time.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising providers automatically collect standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 5.
Call information
If you reach us through a phone number shown in one of our Google ads, or through a number on this Site while visiting from one of our ads, Google Ads call reporting may assign a Google forwarding number to that call. Google reports back the phone number you called from, the date and start time of the call, how long it lasted, and whether it connected, so we can tell which ads produce calls. We do not record call audio, and we do not use these numbers to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
• We do not sell products through this Site and do not collect payment card or bank account information through it.
• We do not collect Social Security numbers, health information, or precise geolocation.
• We do not display third-party advertising on this Site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to your inquiry, schedule an inspection or estimate, and perform the work you request;
• Send you appointment reminders, crew-arrival notices, estimate follow-ups, and job-status updates by phone, email, or text message;
• Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site;
• Measure which ads and pages bring us inquiries, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly;
• Keep records of the work we perform and the consents you give us; and
• Comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights, our customers, and our property.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms and Conditions
These SMS Terms and Conditions are part of this Privacy Policy and govern any text messages you exchange with Red Patch Roofing.
Types of messages we send
We send two kinds of text messages, and only these two:
• Conversational — two-way replies from a person at Red Patch Roofing when you text us a question.
• Informational — service notifications tied to your job: appointment confirmations and reminders, crew-arrival and scheduling changes, estimate and proposal follow-ups, job-status and completion updates.
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
How you consent
You give consent to receive text messages from us in one of two ways:
1. By checking the optional SMS consent box next to the phone number field on a form on this Site. The box is unchecked by default, and you are never required to check it to request an estimate or to hire us.
2. By telling a Red Patch Roofing representative, in person or over the phone, that you would like to receive text messages at the number you provide. We log that consent with the date it was given.
If you consent to receive conversational and informational SMS from Red Patch Roofing, you agree to receive conversational and informational SMS from us.

Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies and depends on your project — you may receive no messages at all, or several around the time of a scheduled visit. Message and data rates may apply, and are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to that number. Reply HELP to any message for support, or call us at (610) 587-2709. You can also ask us to stop texting you by emailing or calling us using the details in Section 12.
How your opt-in information is shared
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.
Your consent to receive text messages, and the phone number you gave it for, are used only by Red Patch Roofing and by the messaging provider that delivers our texts, solely to deliver those messages to you. They are never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
Note: text messaging is not a secure channel and is not monitored around the clock. Do not use text messages to report an emergency. For an urgent roof problem, call us at (610) 587-2709.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure the results of our advertising. We do not display third-party ads on this Site. The third-party services we use are:
• Google Analytics — measures Site traffic and how visitors move through the Site.
• Google Ads conversion tracking — tells us which of our ads led to a call or form submission. This tag measures results; it does not place advertising on this Site.
• Google Ads call reporting — assigns a Google forwarding number so we can tell which ad produced a phone call. It collects call details only, as described in Section 2. It does not record calls.

6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

• With subcontractors or suppliers when it is necessary to perform work you have requested;
• When required by law, or to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, safety, or property of Red Patch Roofing, our customers, or others; and
• In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business, in which case your information may transfer to the successor.
In every case, the exception in Section 4 controls for text messaging: mobile opt-in and text message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates.
7. Third-Party Websites
The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as review sites, manufacturer pages, or social media. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing information.
8. Your Choices and Rights
• Text messages: reply STOP at any time, as described in Section 4.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us.
• Phone: tell us you would prefer not to be called and we will note it.
• Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we are required to keep.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. To exercise any of them, contact us using Section 12. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including SSL encryption on this Site — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for homeowners and property owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly send text messages to a number we know belongs to a child. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the effective date above. Please review this page periodically.
